‘Pushpa 2’ becomes the second film to enter the Rs 1000 crore club, a huge record after two days
‘Pushpa 2- The Rule’, made under the direction of Sukumar, has become the second film of Indian cinema, which has entered the Rs 1000 crore club in the country. It has achieved this feat in just 16 days, whereas now it is confirmed that by Sunday it will create a new history of highest earning in the country.
Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil’s ‘Pushpa 2- The Rule’ has made a bang in its third week. On Friday, December 20, it has entered the Rs 1000 crore club in the country. This is the second film to achieve this feat after ‘Baahubali 2’.
With this, the film has earned more than double its budget in the country. What’s more, this action-drama, made in two days under the direction of Sukumar, is going to break the 7-year-old mega record. It is confirmed that on Sunday, ‘Pushpa 2’ will create history and become the highest grossing Indian film in the country.
The budget of ‘Pushpa 2’ is around Rs 500 crore. Whereas in 16 days it has collected a net collection of Rs 1004.35 crore in all five languages in the country. Before this, the only one is ‘Baahubali 2’, which entered the Rs 1000 crore club in 2017. However, for this, Prabhas’s film took about 5 weeks.
‘Pushpa 2’ is just Rs 26 crore away from creating history
The special thing is that ‘Pushpa’ is now just Rs 26.07 crore behind the record of the highest grossing Indian film in the country.
Seven years ago, ‘Bahubali 2’ had made this record by earning lifetime amount of Rs 1030.42 crore. Allu Arjun’s film will easily cross this record on Sunday and will also create a new history in Indian cinema.

According to the report of sacnilk, after earning Rs 725.80 crore in the first week and Rs 264.80 crore in the second week, “‘Pushpa 2’ collected a net amount of Rs 13.75 crore in the country on its third Friday.” A day earlier on Thursday, it had earned Rs 17.65 crore.
Hence, there has been a decline of around -22% in earnings. But now there are clear signs of increase in earnings again on Saturday and Sunday. On Friday, the film has done the maximum business of Rs 11 crore from Hindi version, Rs 2.40 crore from Telugu, Rs 30 lakh from Tamil version, Rs 3 lakh from Kannada and Rs 2 lakh from Malayalam.

Talking about the worldwide collection, ‘Pushpa 2’ is going to directly spoil ‘Baahubali 2’. Allu Arjun’s film has made a gross collection of around Rs 1445 crore in 16 days at the global box office.
It is currently at number three among the highest grossing Indian films worldwide. Next to it is ‘Bahubali 2’ with Rs 1788.06 crore, while on top is Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’, which had grossed Rs 2070.30 crore.
